hi everyone, i hope you dont think i have been living under a stone but while out on my travels today i passed a vw showroom and i spotted what i thought was a passat estate r32, but on closer inspection i seen it had r36 on it. i didnt have time to give it a good once over but from what i see it looks a very impressive bit of kit. nice wheels n bodykit

have any of you guys got one or anybody had a drive in one?

think i might have a drive down to the vw showroom tomorrow and give it the once over

Yes i think the R32 in the Golf is the 3.2L and the R36 passat will have a 3.6L engine in it.

Loads of clips on Youtube for them

OK, so looks like I am the first owner of an R36 to stick his head above parapet. Have owned the car from new for just over 1 month, it is quick as you would expect with 300bhp, engine is still tight and I can imagine that this wil be the case for at least the next 5000 miles.

Suspension is OK dependant on the roads and can be upset.

DSG is frustrating at the moment so end up in Auto and use the paddles to change backdown a gear - but may be this will change as I get more use to the box.

I attach a few pics below (hopefully)
