    Hello all

    New boy here!

Just a quick note to introduce myself.

Having been a Honda VTEC enthusiast for the majority of my driving career (I was there pretty much from the start), I've finally gotten tired of revving for results, grown up and become the proud owner of an '04 B6 Avant 1.9TDI 130 Quattro Sport and very pleased I am with it too!

Been looking for a while now and this one ticked all the spec boxes (Gmbh kit, xenons, buffalino, parking sensors etc. etc.).

Having been driven by the vendor's wife on the school run for the last few months (his words not mine!), it needs a bit of TLC (alloy refurb and the odd smart repair on the body), but you get what you pay for and I didn't pay that much.

Once that's all sorted, I'll be straight down to my local Revo dealer to give it some extra grunt.

Anyway, from poking around the forum, this looks like a really good resource and seems quite slick, so I thought I'd sign up.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the near future, so I look forward to e-meeting some of you.

    Later folks!

    Welcome embisix.

You did well to get all those extras if you didn't pay much..
Is it the GMBH votex kit or did you mean the S-Line?

It's a pre-facelift, so Votex kit I assume (correct me if I'm wrong, but no S Line badging on the rear rubbing strips = Votex?), with 17" Kraft rims. Also has the Bose upgrade (awesome!), cruise (handy!), storage pack (definitely handy with a baby on the way!!!), and front armrest (lovely!). One owner, 70k and full main agent history. Paid a whisker over 7k with long tax/ticket, with about £500 to spend to make it mint.

Also needs a cambelt change soon, so I'll be getting that done when it comes back from paint and before the Revo.

All that for £7k, not bad. Well there were two upgrade kits available from the factory for B6s so, unless it's an after-market jobby, yours will be a votex kit if it definitely isn't an s-line. The votex kit is quite rare actually, not many opted for it.

Actually, I think it may be the S-Line kit as I don't have chunky sill extensions, just the slighly flared lower door mouldings.

Would be nice to know exactly what I've got as I'm curious now.

Was there an S-Line kit available on '04 models that wasn't badged 'S-Line'? I simply thought the S-Line came in on the facelifted '05 onwards models and anything before that was called the 'gmbh' kit.

Like I said, I'm new to Audis, ask me anything you like about Hondas!

No mate, S-line was available from either late 2003 or 2004 on the B6. It may just be an S-line without the badges on the doors. The votex kit is an overset kit which is really chunky, I don't like it to be honest.
if yours looks like this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...i-A4-SLine.jpg then it's an s-line.
If it looks like this http://www.physicstheory.net/images/audi/shot01.jpg then it has the votex kit.

Looks like a cracking buy, mega spec, well done. And quattro too, pretty rare on the 1.9's.

    Get some pictures posted up.

    Yep, it's an S-Line. Now I know, I'm happy.

Once it comes back from the paint shop, I'll get some pics uploaded.
