plenty of coolant but the light stays on at start up and continues to beep until the car is warmed up. Temp gauge reads normal. Fan sounds noisy so may be suspectbut would like to check thermostat first

    Is it easy to check?

Have you tried topping the coolant up a few mm? Mine does this, and when I fill it up a tiny bit more it normally sorts the beeping out for a few weeks.

Mine was at the max level and still used to come on cold mornings, annoying! However I just topped it up a bit more and that seemed to sort it.

I'll give it a try - thanks. Seems odd that you'd need to do that - fault sensor?

I've no idea, it didn't do it in the summer, maybe the sensor is TOO sensitive? And that little extra few mm of coolant makes a difference.
