Vag com fault central locking

Anybody come across the the following error code while carrying diagnostics via vagcom on the central locking

Sorry can't remember the code but the discription is:- Single wire operation only

I think it refers to how the action of the blipper works as mine won't just unlock the drivers door when you push the button but all of them straight away

The communication between the modules is by a pair of wires and one of the pair is broken that goes to the CCM.
The usual place for this kind of thing to happen is near the ccm in the passenger foot-well where the splices can deteriorate.

You door lock issue is probably not related unless the error code refers directly to the door.

cheers for that I'm still getting use to this vag com milarky looks like I'm gonna have to dive in and get my hands dirty. One thing was when I ran the tests it locked and unlocked the doors fine....... electrickery that's what it is
