    A rather naive question I know, but in case I need to get my Golf Mk3 estate diesel (1996) towed back from the garage, does anyone know where the tow ring is usually stored and where it fits on the car?

    I think it is in the spare wheel compartment,and you must remove the lower front grill,to fit it.
