Hi I'm the new kid on the block - but not so much of a kid!
I have acquired a 2000 Abt Limited Edition 250bhp, 72000 miles, in yellow. Stunning car. It gets looks everywhere we go - if only I was single again!!!
It is fully loaded with the Bose 6 speaker system, leather Abt Recaro seats, Dunlop lo-profile tyres, lowered suspension and full Abt body styling plus 4 exhausts. As I say, stunning!
Just drove from Calais through to Spain with no problems but watched that fuel gauge when my foot got heavy! Hit some great numbers.
Does anybody else have this version?
Any special tips?
The cambelt and tensioners have just been changed, as have the front shocks, new discs and brakes all round. Car really does handle well.
So any tips, ideas, comments would be really appreciated.

No, it starts out as 180bhp but gets remapped to 250. Uprated suspension etc. And don't think Skoda think Lambo! Got to tell you of all the cars I've had this is the only one where people have stood and admired and asked questions about it! Just hope the men in blue don't do the same!

Nice. My ickle oil burning Skoda should have a bit more soon though. What's done to the engine besides the remap to achieve the extra 70bhp? Usually only the standard 225bhp TT engine is remappable to 250+
