    Hi all -

plugged in VAGCOM and received the following:

    1) 16497 - Intake Air Temp. Sensor (G42): Signal too High
    P0113 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

    2) 16518 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: No Activity
    P0134 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Now no.1 - if im correct is the sensor on the throttle body.

Question - How do i check to see if its faulty

And no2 if im correct is the pre-cat sensor

Question - how do i check to make sure the pre-cat sensor is OK - and if not - are there any guides to replace the sensor on an
Audi A6 - or atleast can anyone point out where the pre-cat sensor is located.

    thanks

As these are only intermittant faults, you should first clear the fault codes and see if they reapear.

Sometimes they would come back immediately, sometimes not. It depends what fault it is, but it is intermittent after all.

You're just going to have to get it on the road for a few weeks then do the diagnostic again.
