I have been having a few issues with the running of the car and all tests are pointing towards the MAF Meter, having gone out & got one (not from main dealer far too expensive) the instructions say the ECU may need resetting after installation can anyone tell me if this is the case or not?!!

Moved post to the correct place.

On the fault code part a code will be logged but as soon as the new maf is plugged in the car will start to perform normally (Only if this is the only problem part though)
