    Has anyone replaced their Eagle F1 OEM tyres with anything else - and if so what is your findings on noise, tyre wear, grip etc?

    I am currently on 275/45 VR 20 110Y Goodyear F1.

    I was interested to know if Audi has chosen a particular tyre to demonstrate the performance capability of the Q7 through its particular tyre choice and also to ensure a low noise level. If so is there an equivalent tyre but at a reasonable price (about £100 or so) - since I, like many other Q7 owners, will be looking to change them every 10k miles or so.

    What else works as well and last longer and is around £100?

    I DONT THINK YOU WILL FIND A BRANDED TYRE MUCH LESS THAN 150.00 + VAT WITH 110Y AS LOAD AND SPEED RATING

    I replaced mine with Hankook Ventus.

    Much cheaper and no noticeable difference in grip or noise...

    (I did 30k miles on the Goodyear F1's and have done 20k on the Hankook's and they have more than half the tread still left)

    IF YOU HAVE REPLACED THEM WITH HANKOOK YOU HAVE JUST DOWNGRADED YOUR VEHICLE AND YOUR INSURANCE MAY ALSO BE VOID. HANKOOK ONLY MANUFACTURE 106V. V=>149MPH Y=>186MPH 106=950KG 110=1060KG

    regardless Of Whether You Drive A Mini Or A Rolls Royce You Should Never Reduce The Speed Rating Or The Load Index Of The Original Fitment To The Vehicle.

    So why do mine state 109 Y on them then?

    109 = 1030kg
    110 = 1060kg

    I could **** 30kg after a good curry....

    ....and to the left of your keyboard there is a caps lock key, try pressing it...
