    I Have A 51 Plate A4 1.8 Turbo Quattro Sport When Should I Have The Cam Belt Changed And Anything Else That Goes With It

    Hi Kev

    It should be changed every 60k or 4 years whichever comes first. They are rubber which does age, so the age of the belt is as important as the mileage it has covered.

    You should change the belt, and all the tensioners. You can buy them in a kit from Audi probably at a cost of roughly £100.

    You should do the water pump too, assuming it runs off the timing belt (anyone confirm this?), you'll get money back for returning your old one, or at least I did anyway.

    Yeap.. Water pump on the 1.8T, the petrol engines like to eat water pumps!!

    Thanks For That Onto It Now Its Been Audi Lincoln Serviced Every Year Till Now And First Service By Non Audi Dealer And He Asked The Question
