hey there mate, yeh ill try that but it also seems that the door has been hitting or scraping below the door, on the car pillar t the bottom, also the wing is catching slightely with the door, so i think it may be best to try lifting it somehow? but not sure the method or best way around doingf it?, does anybody else have ideas please?

    thanks

If the hindges are worn then you really need to replace them.Anyway there are two methods of doing this, open the door about 40cm and use brute force and lift the door in a jerking process,The other way you need to be a bit more careful not to damage the door or the pillar.Place a small block of wood, with a towel around it,place it at the bottom corner, between the door and the pillar, and ,push the door, as if to close it.Be it on your own head if you damage anything..
