Just put these 2 rockford fosgate 400W each i think in with the box for £95 !!

i also got given an amp which is mutant but screwed to the back of the box!!

so i thought id get a new headunit which is pioneer it cost £80 on sale from 140 !!

if you could provide instructions with images of were you ran the wires it would be great

theres none to be found anywhere on the net for an a4 b5

firstly i ran the rem and wires for stereo down the back of the head unit there is a gap at the back and ran the wires under the glove box

then there is 2 screws to take the footwell cover off on the passenger side that pulls off..

thenthe whole left hand side of the car the trim jst pulls off along the bottom and yoou can run your wwires rite down

once you get to the back pull the rear seat up and there is a gap and the back under the seat to pull the wires through into the boot.

thats how i got the wires through the car

and as for the live that went from the back the same way rite up the the passenger door then i too the black seal ff just pulls off and fed it through there up the door then ouutside into the engine bay to the battery

about the live wire...

does that go up behind the glovebox aswell or through the door?

thats the part im having problems with. i have all the equipment ready to install.

as well as that ive never had a sub in a car, does it cause any side effects like battery problems?

chrismaher, your best bet us to take the live wire from the battery across the bulkhead to the ecu housing, where i think you will find a spare grommit, once passed through this it will emerge in the cabin by the fuse box. you get to it by removing the panel under the steering column cowling, in much the came way as the glove box comes out but the other side of the centre console.
