    Evening,

I have ordered my GTI with ipod prep in the armrest. I didnt order the phone prep because the dealer said it would be dash mounted.

Is there any way i can get a cradle, and mount it in the armrest next to the ipod, and connect it back to the multifunction steering wheel.

Surely this can be done, i just need to know how, and where i can get the wheel and phone cradle connected.

In addition, does the steering wheel activate a microphone or what? I pushed the dealer for more info, but got fed up when they couldnt tell me.

Can an armrest mounted phone even be fitted? there looked like there was room, but who knows.

Sorry its a bit rambling, but can anyone help.

    thanks,

    Matt
