    Guys,

Have a V6 TDi convertible with an auto box and can't help but think it is sluggish (even in sports or using the multitronic box). I know it's a heavy old lump but when accelerating hard the power seems strangled is the best way i can put it. I think I read somewhere that this is a symptom of the auto box Audi use but wanted to check if anyone has ideas. I had toyed with getting it remapped but dont know whether anyone else done this and what their thoughts were.

Any suggestions/ideas would be muchly appreciated.

In the handbook or in the spare wheel well, it's a 3 digit code starting with A, e.g. ATJ.

    HTH

Nearly all A4 type 8H Cabrio V6 TDI engines start with a B, e.g. BDG, BFC or BCZ, except the ASB

That is a 163PS engine so should not feel sluggish, in fact they are very sprightly. I suggest a fault code read of the engine and box computers first.
