It would probably help us if you told us what sort of car this was on.You ofcourse had a four wheel allignment for castor, camber, track and toe following this work or sufficiently marked the suspension that you know its in the right place? Have you established if it's the brake? Place the necessary corner on some stands with the wheel off and check the caliper and rotation of the brake disk, also inspect the suspension for any sign of movement.
You may think I'm being helpful yet sarcastic, this is only because I feel I need to help you to help yourself in the future

its a vw mk 4 golf 98 and i havnt had it alligned, the brake pads and disc on the front look brilliant they dont have that much wear in them, so you think it would be better to get it alligned first and i will check the caliper and the rotation of the disc now, and i will get back to you cheers captin

It's not wear you're interested in, its if the disk will rotate without fouling. I'd check your wheel bearing too whilst you're there.

Allignment will need to be done by somewhere with the right kit - ATS etc do not usually have this but a search on yellow pages will find you one locally.
