Hello, I'm new to this forum.

I have desperately tried to google for pictures taken from back of Symphony II cd-cassette player. What I'm really hunting is that can I get sound going in it via RCA connectors?

I carry always my N96 with me, and I've got music in it, so it would be nice if I could play it from my car stereos.

I've heard about Ipod docking for symphony/concert players but those aren't with RCA-connectors, am I right? So is it even possible to get those connections in it?

The unit doesn't have an AUX in function but you maybe able to get an adapter that uses the CD changer connections, as they obviously have audio inputs for that.

Try Car Audio Technics on 01277 230730, they do an adapter, and will mail order if necessary.

I would'nt be so sure about that.. If i remember right it has one button that indicates to "AUX input", I have to check that tomorrow.

I have that unit, that has 6cd changer in itself, not in the trunk or glovebox.

Symphony II doesnt have AUX-IN, Symphony II+ did have AUX-IN available from late 2007 IIRC.

Obsi, in addition to the internal changer, the Symphony II can also drive a boot mounted changer - this is how the factory iPod adapater plugs into the Symphony II.

The unit definitely does not have RCA or AUX inputs, but you may be able to find an adapter to use this external CD changer input.

    Good luck.

    Thanks for replies.

So, how it affects to internal cd-changer if i plug my phone to boot cd-changer's rca jacks? Internal stops working?

Damn it. :/ These are hard, I really like symphony II looks.. RNS-e navi would be nice with card reader, but costs ~500-1000 euros. Pioneer has also nice navimodel with aux A/V in and they sell face covers for audi aswell.. Those also costs about 1000 euros.

The Symphony II can support both internal and external cd changers at the same time.
