Replacing Drivers seat base foam

Hi anyone know how you replace the drivers seat base foam on a Passat 05 SE ?

Mine has gone so bought a new one from VW but need to know how to fit it.

You will need hog ring pliers and a bag of hog rings. It's often a good idea to disconnect battery because of air bags. Disconnect wires under seat. Unbolt seat and remove. Turn upside down. Cut or bend open all the hog rings holding the seat base cover to the frame.
Go slow and ease the cover off. Getting the cover to sit nice and tidy on the new base is the fun part. Allow lots of time and be prepared for cut fingersand a lot of swearing.
