remote locking

just got a 2nd hand TDi 130 estate and have 2 probs firstly wherev can i get a new remote for locking the car and secondly the fuel filler flap has been broken and was wondering how easy is it to fit a new one

Well, you can get the key fobs off ebay quite often, BUT the problem comes with getting them tuned to your car, unfortunately - so I`m led to believe - only a *********** can program them in. Course, you need to get the blade cut too, but you could just swap the blade from your old key, if you are just replacing the handle bit.

Which end of the car is broken?

Is it the flap end or the switch inside the car?

It was the fuel flap its self, ok now though found a 2nd hand one from a scrapyard
