Does anyone know how to remove the N/S window switch on a 2005 T5 Transporter. Is it the careful use of a screwdriver to prise it out or do you have to remove all the door card?

    Remove upper door trim .
    Release connectors and pull off.
Disengage locking lug and remove switch together with mounting frame out of upper door trim.
Release locking lugs and remove switch from installation frame.
I can send a diagram if you need it

    Thanks T5 TDI, Kenny,

The reason for removing the window switch is that my nearside window works off the drivers window switch, but not off the nearside window switch. The switch lights up with the lights on but does not work the window, so i'm assuming its goosed.

    What do you think?

    Thanks, Stuart.

Could well be the switch but there are other possibilities too. The wiring to the switch or the comfort module faulty (it lives under the drivers seat and can suffer if it gets wet for any reason).

Kenny is obviously a clued up VW tech so he is the guy to advise you.
