Decided to get these bulbs again now it's dark most of the time I am driving and I highly recommend them.

The light is a lot whiter than the standard Philips bulbs which were in the car and I personally think good value if you don't want to spend the money on a HID upgrade, paired with the BlueVision 501 sidelights, they look almost HID Xenon like as well.

What's the difference between H4 and H7? And are they easy to fit?

Different connection pins, you need H7. Yes they are pretty easy to fit, follow the instructions in the owners manual, should take about 15 minutes if all goes to plan.

Mate... Thanks a million for this I was looking for a good review.
The price is quite good for the real deal, I heard the Phillips ones are the best.
They got 20% off today and free set of BlueVision 501's!

    THANKS AGAIN!

I have also just fitted a pair of these today - purchased from powerbulbs, still waiting to try them out Thought i would swop the sidelights whilst i was at it - how the heck do you get at them to remove them?!!! The manual says dealer only replace!!! - sidelights? - I can just about see them with the help of a mirror but can't get my fingers on them to push pull or twist. Anybody managed to remove them? any tips? - 2007 2.0 TDI

To remove sidelights you need to pull firmly on the wires as near to the holder as you can get your hand, space is very tight! The bulb holder will pop out with some persuasion though

To fit back in, turn the sidelights on so you are illuminating the area and you can guide the holder back in the hole.
