    hi all installed vag com
    do you need to connect to car to se if port is enabled ?
    device manger shows com 3
    when checking thanks

    The current version of vag-com works fine with vista. It's the old versions that have had problems.

    The old versions were released years before Vista was released. Ross-Tech is not going to go back and make the old versions compatible. The old versions are fully compatible with XP and you should be able to make the old versions run under Vista XP compatibility mode.
