Hi, ive just cleaned all my throttle body out today on my 1.6 sr 8v golf, as it was a poor starter, now the car will start straight from the key but will tickover at about 1200-1300
ive had all the allignment done with my friends diagnostic equipment and still keeps coming back with an idle control fault??????

if i start the car staright from the key it fires staright up and tickover is perfect at 900 if i give the car a rev it will settle back on high revs again 12-1300

any ideas would be much appreciated thanks
