    In the drivers footwell- somewhere near the bonnet latch.

    Just a hint if you are using VAG-com and you've bought a cheap RS-232 or USB cable:

    Often you'll find the plastic OBD2 diagnostic connectors aren't very well made!

    If so, you'll have to get on your hands & knees outside the car, locate the socket in the foot-well (as described by kodkod.84) ensure the D-shape is over the diagnostics port the correct way round and give it a good push.

    I just had a cheapo fault code obdii fault code reader - got me nowhere... airbag light is still on!

    You need VCDS to reset the airbag light.
    Have a look in the vagcom section for locations of members willing to scan
    your car for beer tokens...........
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)
