My Brake pedal is very hard to push down and I’ve no power below 2000 rpm. It an intermittent issue, when the brake pedal is soft the car has normal power and runs fine. But when I brake allot the pedal hardens and the power drops off. Any ideas I’ve change the N75 already but it hasn't helped.

    Thanks

    brake servo problem,or related pipework.
    water ingress is very common
    try searching servo,or plenum chamber.

Sounds like it is not making vacuum as quickly as it should? Or maybe has a vacuum leak (eg, corroded servo due to water in the plenum)?

Check your vacuum pump is working and associated tubing is airtight.

Problem was the brake servo and the brake switch, all fixed and turbo is back working fine, had to get the servo from the Uk but it was 180 euro compared to 450 in the VW dealer.

Glad to have the car back.

    thanks for the help.
