Help 80tdi avant. New to audi

Hi i am new to audi so take it easy with me. Ok i have an 1995 80avant tdi, i have a few problems with it and could do with some help.

1/ Temp takes a very long time to get upto 50degrees

2/ when sitting idling it smokes all the time black/blue smoke

3/ lots of water in footwells front and back, i have checked pollen filter/door seals/sunroof drains all seem fine.

4 / on the brake peddle there is a switch with 2 wires going into it, but i also have 2 broken wires very close to the switch. were can i find out what wires go were???

5/ on the dash when the lights are on 1 half is lit up but the other half is dark.

1/suspect thermostat run up and check top hose and bottom hose for comparison
2/get a diag test done on the engine poss pump timing or commencement of injection valve
3/only thing i can suggest is to water test car poss strip out seats/carpets/dash undertrays etc
4/what colour are the wires if its the brake light wiring one wil be black/red
5/you will need to replace the bulbs remove top steering column cover 2 screws from below this will give you access to the 2 screws that hold the dash pod in remove and tilt out to get to bulbs i sugggest replace all illumination bulbs as the others will probably go soon

Blue Smoke - I would suspect its the turbo. Does it smell of oil? Had the same problem in my 200sx, it still pulled like a train but once I put a new turbo in the smoking went (lets hope it stays away).

Water - as said above get the seats out and carpet pulled up...look for any rust or holes in the floor!
