Thanks Ben, I have removed the card now. for anyone else 3 torx screws from the bottom, 1 from the top front corner. then prise apart the handle (lower half) come away and remove 2 torx screws. then pull apart around the edges (quite a bit of force required) I used a screw driver wrapped in insulating tape to help.

Note, the only thing you can do from this side of the door is change speakers and change the door controller and window motor. Everything else requires the removal of the outer door panel

Hi mate, Ive just fixed my door electrics problem today. The only thing that worked on my passenger door was the electric window, everything else was knackered, even the lock.

Check your wiring in the rubber boot which protects the entrie wiring harness for your door (with the door wide open press down the top and pull the rubber back away from your car)

I had damaged wires in here and one completely broken one which was causing all my problems in the door. either a manufacturers fault or as result of frost.

I took the door outer skin off and repaired the wiring

    Problems solved

    Hope that helps

    Peace

Thanks for the advice, I've been in the garage this evening, got a new loom from the scrapyard and replaced the lot

I had the door skin off too, a little nerv racking not to scratch the paint!!!

Anyhow now i have a working door, had to replace loom and door contrroller in the end.....not bad for a car that been in a flood!!!!

the most annoying bit was the door handle removal, ok to take off, but when I put it back together I turned the screw too much and the locking ring fell off Had to remove the panel again to retrieve it...part of the fun I suppose
