Now and again, becoming more often recently, if I pull up at a set of lights, or become stationary, the car will sometimes judder on the spot.

The revs wont rise or fall etc. Im stumped as to what it could be?

    Any suggestions would be great!

    Thanks,

    Matt

Is this a common fault? Or an assumption from past experiences? Also, do you have any more details on it?

    Thanks,

    Matt

I have done a few now; it is a 2.0TDI 16v BKD engine then? It takes about an hour and a half; I also replace the glow plugs whilst in there. The part on a BKD is 03G 971 033 D and costs £67. It is the black plastic casing in the centre between the cam and injector arms.

    Thanks for that, sounds interesting.

Somebody else has mentioned that it could be an engine mount, as there is sometimes knocking, on sudden change of direction? which could also lead to the engine being slightly unbalanced when stationary?

Possibly the lower torque reaction mount, I am seeing a few of these fail.
