Golf Mk5 '08 Match - Seat material problem.

Hello,, Have today had the drivers seat cover and Back cover replaced by VW under warranty on my 6 month old Golf 1.9TDI 105 Match.. The velour had fluffed up quite badly in places (gone like an old Afghan coat) and after much to-ing and fro-ing VW agreed that it should'nt have happened on a car with less than 5,000 miles on it!... Wondered if anyone else had had the same problem??.. but more importantly (it may happen again),Please can anyone recommend a really decent seat cover for a Mk5 Golf..Preferably one that fits and does'nt look too naff.. regards Roof

I wont recommend one particular cover over another but you do get what you pay for
Ive paid £4.99 and Ive opaid £35.99 each for covers and they have both done the job and kept the seats clean and dry The biggest problem Ive encountered is the method of fixing in place
The cheaper ones will either snap their ties or simply move about too much on the seats Have a good look around and keep away from the fake leather ones
Im sure someone else will have a bit more advice for you
