Audi A4 Gearbox Oil Change - Help Needed Please

Hi, I want to change the gearbox oil in my 2.8 Quattro Manual - I have read some previous threads and it would appear using Audi's own oils is best. The only thing I am unsure about is how much oil I need to buy and is it a sealed unit?

Hi, you need 2.3-2.5 L of GENUINE oil . Dont get anything else unless you wanna be sorry later on. The gearbox is'nt sealed, it does have a drain and a filler plug. You will need to buy a filler pump from local automotive store or you could improvise with a bit of clear tubbing and fill untill fluid comes out of the fill hole ! If you have someone to give you a hand, it will work wonders really !
