    Default Annoying Rattle – 26-01-2009,01:31 PM
    I just cannot stand rattles!
    I've got one coming from the ignition barrel area. It makes a 'tinking' noise and as soon as I touch the key or the area where they key goes into, it goes away.
    Has anyone here had the same thing?
    2008 Passat TDI SE DSG Saloon. Blue Graphite, New Style RS4 18" Alloys, Privacy Glass, Chrome Mirrors, Chrome Grill, Parrot CK3000 Evolution.

    yes its quite common if you remove the switch you can either replace or wedge with an anti rattle foam/felt

    Thanks for that, I take it my dealer should do this ok under warranty?
