gamma radio enter code

hi all newbie to this site just bought a gof tdi 130 2001 and had a blaupunkt radio changed it to the original gamma with tape and cd had to change the wires on the block around .was wanting to know the radio i got it of ebay i got the code for it but when i enter the code i cant get it to do anything else it just stays with the code on the screen ive tried pressing buttons and holding them down but nothing i thought i say it say somewhere to hold down fm and am but nothing still any help would be appreciated thanks

Hi Try this, when the code has been entered, depress the left or right rocker of the radio unit to the right until the anti-theft coding is activated. This is indicated by a brief sound.

Hi Kenney is correct, from the manual :-Turn on the radio, the word safe will appear in the display.
1000 will appear after approx. 3 seconds.
If, however the word safe is still shown together with a small "2" in the left of the display The Radio is blocked. The radio must remain switched on for 1hr to lift this block.
Input the code using the station buttons, Button 1 for the 1st one and button 2 for the second one and so on.
Then press either the search or the manual setting rocker switch for longer than two seconds, release the button and a frequency should appear and the radio is back in use.
You only get two tries before it blocks you and you will have to wait the 1 Hr.
