    How do you get the filter seal out? I cant get to the third nut as it is under the widscreen etc.
    has anyone done it?
    my carpet is getting wet, so it needs to be done
    HELP

    I hear your pain - can't help (I'm dead useful, me) - I had the same head scratching issue when I looked at mine, but I didn't need to remove it at the time.

    Sorry if it is obvious, but are you sure the water is coming through there, checked the checked drain holes in bottom of the battery compartment, for example? There are a number of ways water ingresses into the cabin.

    Sorry it isn't more helpful - but possibly you don't have to get the base of the pollen filter out..

    Dear me , yes, seal is wet and squidgy allong with, now having taken glove box out, all fo the ulnerlay and sound deadening felt behind the heater fan assy.
    ........going to drown if it rains tomorrow

    there are 2 bolts on the right hand side of the polen filter holder, you will need to get at it with a extended socked bar, the 1st bolt you will get off with the bonnet open, the back bolt will need you to just move the plastick engine seal to one side a touch, close the bonnet, not fully but just one click, then you will be able to get at the back bolt with a socket set with the extended arm on it so you will be able to reach down to it,

    Is the plastic cover your mentioning is the lower widscreen panel??? with the holes punches all allong its width that the wipers pass through ?

    I can see from the photos youve done it, what a pain this is ,, Oh yes it is raining like the clappers at the moment

    yes the plasick cover is flexable, just dont strees it too much, get an umberella
