    I recently Had a spark when I didnt cover the Amp remote wire and the headunit didn't work... the Xenon light on the left handside has stopped working... I've tried to replace the headunit but I had the same problem; the headunit doesn't turn on. I checked the headunit fuses and all was intact and now baffled... what else could it be? the main fuses in the car fusebox?
    and the car needs servicing aswell so I was wondering how much would it be... 108k on the clock FSH

    lastly can anyone tell me about the Throttle box problem on the Polo's etc? don't seem to understand the main problem and how to spot the symtoms.

    Cheers =D

    you probably blow a fuse in the main fusebox
    depends on what service is due milage/age what last service was?
    the throttle box? do you meen pedal box
    throttle body does get carboned up and reqs cleaning this causes uneven idle/stalling
    pedal box fault is when you get a long clutch pedal and getting car in and out of gear becomes difficult and graunchy
