Definatly buy it mate, COD4 is probaly one of the best games produced, and this one doesnt fail to amaze either, but to play it safe how about renting it for a couple of nights, see how you get on?

    I would definatly recommend it.

Hired COD 5 last weekend and enjoyed it more than any of the previous games; graphics are sharper (I was using a PS3), Kiefer Sutherland's narration and commentery is cracking, and the two-player "combined" mode is a real Saturday night killer - a few beers and you're well away. Superb!

I have Call of duty World at War (which I think is the same thing) for the PS3 I bought last week and I keep getting torched, shot, bayoneted, blow up and chomped on by dirty great big German Shepard’s!

Yeah it's the same game! Something incredibly satisfying about cleansing a bunker with a flamethrower though, before shooting any melting survivors with a pistol at point blank range.

Maybe I've got some pent-up stress issues, or maybe I'm a sick sod, but I find it fun either way!!!
