Ignition Control Module - Passat 1.8 20v turbo 1998

Question 2 plugs, 1 either side of ignition control module, 1 has 5 pins other has 4 pins....
Do they all go to the 4 coil packs which are 3 pin plugs...?
Problem is its either my lead going to coil 2 is knackered as im not getting spark there, or the module's gone.... dont wanna pay for lead and module..
the plug that goes to the coils has 3 female pins which when testing 2 of the pins theres voltage 12v when ignition on and 14.2 when engine running, the 3rd pin has no voltage engine on/off, but the other 3 coil plugs no. 3 pin has a voltage of 0.53-0.62 when engine running...

I found a good read up on how to test the ignition module on audiworld good write up and photos for novices like my self, tested the unit and no its now faulty which i can now go and buy with confidence knowing thats my problem

I was just about to advice you to swap with a known good lead and coil...You just figgured out yourself...Well done !
