    any ideas on how to stop my squeaky brakes when braking lightly?

    How old are discs/pads how many miles u done on them and what makes are they?

    Use to be told to put copper slip on back of pads, not sure if that's an old mechanics wife's tail!

    Before you try sanding (I did it on the bike a few times, PITA), try doing a few really aggressive stops (but stay safe). Get the brake pads hot and change their surface basically. Generally it's annoying but nothing to worry about IMO
