RIGHT.... STOP STOP.... REP POWER!! Here is a quick overview!!

Reputation Power..... devised by the green markers!!

Under everyones Avatar you will see the this icon ""

If you click on this icon it brings the below window up with a section to leave good or bad, and a comment..

What "you" should do, is every time some one assists you, provide them with positive feedback ie "I approve" what this guy is saying.. If you dont approve select "I disapprove",

ONE WORD OF ADVICE, If you are going to give someone "I disapprove", I would recommend you speak to them via a PM or on the thread before you do so... it could just be a simple typo!!!

All this does is helps members trust the information they are provided with based on a score.... (just think of Ebay, more sales the better!!)

So..... if you all want to test this on mine.... by saying you "Approve" what im saying feel free!!

    Hope this clears it up

    Cheers

OK, but the comments - where do they show up? If I have a nosey at your profile, I dont see anything, but if I look at my own, from https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/usercp.php, then I see comments, and a shed load of points (someone still likes me then ).

I still don't get what the points mean, if no one else can see them!

And another thing, if somone gives you negative feedback, does your green pillow count shrink or grow?

There don't seem to be an option for "you've just confused me"

Just a quick update, i have tried a new MAF and nothing has changed.
The car doesn't seem to be lacking power although it doesn't rev above 3000rpm on the gauge.

I think the gauge may be out because the engine sounds like it is reving higher then what the rpm gauge is showing, is this possible??
    if so how?

I have filled the tank £46 and i am going to run it down to try and work out the mpg.

If anyone could help with the above i would be grateful.

I would say you next step would be to get the fault codes read, the car sound like it still in limp mode and until you get some codes we qill all be taking will guesses.

If you post the codes up we should be able to give you a plan of attack to get things sorted

Just a quick update on my initial posting, after filling the tank full for £46 i have now used just over 1/2 and have done 350 miles.
The miles left is saying 170 and mpg is still saying 24mpg (ish) but i dont think this is right.

Finally used the full tank of fuel, It cost me £46 to fill and ive done around 600 miles which i work out to be aroung 52 MPG although my computer says ive bee getting 24MPG on average.

Guess the computer must be calculating it wrong, can these be reprogrammed??

under the indicator stalk is a reset button, you can reset total drive time, average speed and average mpg. I do this when i fill the tank.

    Hope it helps
