im getting this old beast back up to date with 2009 (1997 mk3 golf cl 1.6 8v) and was wondering if this stuff looks good or any 1 had any changes or sugestions.

I'd ask the same question on somewhere like Talk Audio as there are pro installers and serious car audio people on there. I suspect the replies will be along the lines of forget the three speaker selections you have and just go for separate mid-bass and tweeters. Also remember to allow money for the wiring for the amp and "big 3" (wiring and earth, alternator/battery/engine), sound deadening for the doors and a box for the sub.
