    Default VAGCOM in Somerset – 14-01-2009,04:06 PM
    Hi All,

    I was wondering if anybody local to me in Taunton had a vagcom system that they would use to check my '97 passat 110 TDI as Im loathed to go to the local 'specialist' to be charged the earth!!

    Obivously I wouldn't expect it to be done for free so just let me know what you want for it.

    Why not buy the cable from ebay and do it yourself?

    Hi,

    I could but it would still make no sense to me and Im not that great with computers so thought this would be the easier option

    hi mate,not sure if you will see this message but heh worth a shot,im new today so you may have sorted it,im in taunton,not sure if the vagcom system you are talking about is the same as the snap on scanner or mac tools version,but i know a fella with either,let me know and ill give you my email and then contact no for you hope this helps cheers jim
