    Default ABS stopped working – 16-01-2009,12:12 PM
    Morning all,

    The ABS on my 1995 gti 2.0 has stopped working. The light does not illuminate when the ignition is turned on. I have looked in the vw handbook(for a 97) which says the relays have a fuse on the bulkhead above the brake servo but I can't find any additional fuses. Any ideas.... I don't have a 1995 handbook and I know the wiring changed. Can I rely on a Haynes manual for relays 8,9 & 10 being associated with ABS? Cheers

    Just soldered a new bulb into the warning lamp next to light switch. Light now remains on. Guess I'm now looking at speed sensors....
