aftermarket radio installed on audi tt , diagnostic problem

(this is my first post here)

when i installed the pioneer cdplayer on my audi tt 2002 , i checked if the diagnostic adapter is working and i fix the problem with the current. So the diagnostic system is working but it cannot cumminacate with my car at all

any ideas?

Hi Try connecting the power to the unit from another source

the unit is working fine with the power from the diagnostic port , the problem its on the communication with my ecu

And that is probably why you are having problems with communicating to the ECU
