All

I have an A4 Avant 04 plate with the standard fit Audi SymphonyII part amplified kit

I want to install a Nokia CK-100 Car Kit which will mute the stereo for calls and apparently play music on the bluetooth profile from my phone (Nokia n96)

A few installers have told me that this is a problem because of the way the stereo is set up. One installer told me that this would only produce music through the front 2 speakers and not all of them. Handsfree muting should be fine though.

The CK100 has a configuration whereby you can cut a looped wire and run the car kit into the line in, thus providing the music. This therefore uses the car radio as the music amp rather than the CK-100 car kit amp.

Now I've done a couple of installs of standard (Parrot CK3000) handsfree kits before so I'm confident in that respect, but I have a few questions:-

1. Does anyone know if there is a line in (and where it is on the rear of the Symphony kit)
2. Does the ISO loom on the Audi have a switched ignition connection or am I going to have to run a seperate one to the fusebox (whereever that may be)
3. Does the Symphony radio (believe it is a symphony II not a symphony II+) have the standard ISO connectors
4. There appears to be 2 areas where muting can occur, through the ISO power block, or by seperate lead to a flat pin next to where the power ISO block goes - any idea which one should be used??

My Audi dealer are trying to help but I'm bot getting very far

All help gratefully received

cheers
