Hi all, I have a 2004 Passat TDi 130 Highline.

The trip computer is completely lit up (every pixel), Apparently it was intermittent for a period first. Has anyone any experience of this? I have seen some posts saying that they have removed the battery for a while, do I need any codes when I reconnect the battery? I have also seen a thread saying that they had to install a new screen (£300) is this the best price?

    Please help

You can have the whole instrument cluster remanufactured for £150 + vat at http://www.bba-reman.com/forums/Default.aspx

I have used this service and can highly recommend them . My cluster failed , no power to it so the car was immobilised , I contacted them , they had a courier pick it up , fixed the problem , and sent it back with the courier , all in all a very quick service .

You can enclose a list of all problems your cluster has and they will repair it for you , hope this helps , Calum .

You will need to contact them , remove your cluster and they will have a courier collect the intrument cluster . Put a list of anything that doesn't work on the cluster in the box . Removal instructions , click on the 1st link .
