Just interested to see if these engines are fairly good for high mileage.
Post your mileage and age of car and any mods etc

The 150PD is the least reliable engine out of the PD family. The 130bhp is a more realiable bet and will more than likely take more miles.

The 150PD is fine if its looked after. Cams go on them and Turbos are prone to fail but it doesn't effect all cars. Its pot luck really and down to the service and life its led.

I don't have one but my brother does (Skidmark on here). His is an 03 and done 54k. No mods.

2005 Leon 150PD, 82k miles, remapped at 74k, EGR cleaned and blanked at same mileage, uprated clutch. Full dealer service history from new. Not thrashed while cold and allowed to idle for a minute or so before switching off.

No problems to report as of yet.

my 2002 pd150 has just done 133k....beat that!

....of course, I did run up the biggest repair bill in the WORLD last year, so it probably doesn't mean much.
