  1. Thinking of buying A4 Avant 2.5 TDI Quattro Sport 180...

Hi, I'm thinking of buying an A4 Avant 2.5 TDI Quattro Sport 180 and would really appreciate any recommendations on what to look out for.

The car is an auto, 2003 model and covered 68k miles. I'm coming from a 2007 BMW that's done 25kmiles so the age and mileage concern me. should they? I'm told it has FASH although I'm yet to check this in the flesh and I'm also told it has had a new cambelt which I gather from reading this forum is very important.

Any comments welcome really, what should expect from the drive, any history of bits going wrong etc etc.

    thanks in advance,
    Nick
