Another thing, a LIFE sentence, should be LIFE. Not x years with good behaviour.

I would also go as far as to include people who sadistically torture and kill animals too; I abhor animal cruelty in any form. Infamous serial killers throughout history have been known to derive some sort of sick pleasure from killing animals first.
I'd agree with the above. Manslaughter and murder are not the same thing.
As for the sick 'swear'ers that torture and or kill animals, the law currently is woeful. I think the maximum sentence is 6 months. 6 months for putting a living being with all the feelings of fear and pain that we have through an agonising death for for their own entertainment is apalling. There's clearly something wrong with people upstairs who think that way & they should be monitored.

I know a lot of you wont react well to this but here I my very blunt view...

I dont think we should bring back the death penelty I think we should bring back torture in extreme cases... For example someone like Ian Huntley, he dont deserve the right to a peaceful death. If you ask me we should keep people like him alive and make them suffer mentaly and physicly each and every day for the rest of their lives. I dont think this would be fair on people who comit these crimes that have mental health issues but for everyone that is sane.
