Hi I have just bought a sat nav and would like to install a cigarette socket behind/inside the fuse box to make it all nice and neat. I would like it to only be powered when the car was running.

What is the best way of doing this/ What are the best wires to join in to?

Also is it possible to get a carbon pollen/Air con filter to help stop smells from outside.

    Thanks

hiya mate, in fusebox unsure of wire colours but you'll find no end of ignition cotrolled wires you'll have to get your meter out i'm afraid as regards to pollen filter dependant on model/age you should have a filter anyway on the b6 rhd it'll be located under bonnet, passenger side, just below the windscreen you cant miss it, it's well documented in this site only about a tenner, have fun

Thanks about the fuse box, as for the pollen filter I know where it is on the car what I need to know is, is it possible to get a carbon one to help stop smells, my local car part outlet who get bits for all makes of cars only have the normal one. I have looked on Eurocarparts web site but it does not say if any of them are normal or carbon filters?
