hiya all , this is a long shot but worth a try.
has anyone got a broken regulator as i only need one of the green lifter guides that slide in the side runners.
for a 99 plate A3 front doors they are not handed so either door would do.

    thanks andy

    Hi
I understand from a few messages posted in other forums that the part you need can be sourced for under a fiver - the part number is 4B0-837-463-B. I understand that the B is very important. There is a site in French with an explanation of how to do it (if you google the part number and look on s3-passion.com) and there is also an american version but that is on a A6. Need to do mine (late '02 S3) so when I get the part and have a go I will add another post.
Oh by the way, the replacement part I understand is much stronger and it has changed colour so there obviously has been an issue with the fragile nature of the item. My local dealer wanted £270 for a regulator plus fitting)

Done a bit more trawling through the forums. Came up with this from an A6 post - thanks to Chris who put it there.
