USB driver

Guys,
I bought a USB cable via a Group Buy on this site. It didn't come with any software. (from ESHRULES)

When I plug in the USB to my PC, it is identified as: FT232R USB UART.
I downloaded VAG-COM 409.1 from the Ross-tech site, but there are no drivers for my USB device.

Anyone know what I need, or what I'm doing wrong ?

I've searched my 2 GB's and can't find your transaction listed?

Regardless of that, I did make it quite clear that software wouldn't be sent with my cables, it never is I'm afraid.

the rosstech 409 vagcom software is the software you can register, to use with one of my 409 compatible cables. Rosstech do not provide drivers for 3rd party cables.

Have you unzipped (extracted) the files?

Once that's done you just click the installer if my memory serves me right, I bought exactly the same stuff off EE so have done all this myself.
