    hi all,
    i own a 02 reg audi a4 1.9tdi and as my wiper motor has packed in ive purchased a new one..my question to the experts is im not a mechanic but quite a handy engineer could i fit this my self or is it out of my league

    You sure it was the motor and not a seized linkage.
    There is a post on here somwhere with a link to a "how to".
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)

    to be honest i dived straight in and asked the question as a newbie, ive seen the step by step guide of stripping it down, il do that first. where is the motor located maybe i could try that first as ive bought a new one.

    On the "how to" the motor is removed with the linkage.
    You could change the motor and lube the linkage at the same time
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)

    many thanks for taking the time to reply. ive un loosened the nuts on the wiper and cant get the wiper of the bolt, is there any way i can do this it seems stuck. ive blasted with wd40 but cant remove wiper.

    Use a small puller or go to a local windscreen fitter and ask nicely.
    I live next door to a screen fitter, handy or what !!
